Engine Speed Signal Faulty

  1. This DTC will set if instrument cluster registers engine speed signal that exceeds 300 Hz (9000 RPM). Tachometer may read too high.
  2. To correct this problem, check signal leads between ignition/fuel control module and instrument cluster for a short circuit to voltage or ground.
