Gauges (All Except 760 GLE)

Disconnect sending unit wire from suspected gauge. Connect a 100-ohm test resistor between gauge terminal and ground. Gauge needle should be horizontal. If gauge reads correctly, sending unit is bad. If gauge reading is incorrect, gauge is faulty.
