Water Pump: Removal
- Disconnect negative battery cable. On A/C models, disconnect vacuum hose from water valve. Position heater control to "WARM" position. Remove coolant expansion tank cap. Open drain valve on right side of engine block and remove lower radiator hose.
- Remove fan shroud, fan and preheating hose clamp (beneath fan shroud). Remove drive belts and water pump pulley. Remove upper timing belt cover. Remove coolant return pipe from water pump. Remove nuts, bolts and water pump.
