Disassembly & Inspection
- Disassemble and clean all parts thoroughly. Check all parts for excessive wear.
- Measure clearance between teeth of pump gears. Place straightedge across pump body, above gears. Measure gear end clearance between gear and straightedge. Measure relief valve spring free length and spring pressure. Replace components if not within specification. See OIL PUMP SPECIFICATIONS table.
