Master Cylinder: Disassembly

  1. Remove master cylinder from vehicle, and clamp mounting flange in a vise. Remove reservoir from cylinder, and remove rubber sealing rings.
  2. Remove piston stop screw, and remove retainer ring from end of cylinder bore. Remove pistons from cylinder bore.
