Valve Spring Installed Height

Valve spring ends must be square in relation to height. Installed height of valve spring cannot exceed specifications. Measure height from base of spring pad on cylinder head to underside of valve spring retainer. Installed height should be 19/16-137/64" (39.7-40.0 mm).
