Turbocharger Connections, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

NOTE:

Secure all the hose connections with hose clamps corresponding to the model version. Refer to the Parts Information.

-- Replacing the O-ring.

-- Lightly coat the O-rings with clean engine oil before installing.

Installation Position

-- Position the connection -1- on the turbocharger -2-.

-- The pins on the connection must engage in the hole -a- on the turbocharger.

-- Tighten the bolts -arrows- for the connection -1- with the Mini Torque Wrench :VAS6854 and Torque Wrench 1783 - 1/4" Drive Ratchet :VAS6234 .
