Air Duct Pipe Between Charge Air Cooler And Turbocharger, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Replace all O-rings after removing.

-- Lightly coat the O-rings with engine oil before installing.

-- Pay attention to the correct positioning of the O-rings before the final assembly.

-- Always replace the retaining bracket -a- after removal.

-- Push the air duct pipe all the way on the turbocharger.

-- Push the air duct pipe all the way on the charge air cooler.

-- Push the retaining bracket in the groove of the air duct pipe.

-- The phases on the retaining bracket -a- must be engaged in the rear groove -b- of the air duct pipe -2-.

-- Push the air duct pipe -2- in the direction of -arrow a- on the turbocharger -3-.

-- Turn the locking ring -1- all the way in the direction of -arrow b-.
