Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing, Rear Seat Backrest: Removing

-- Remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear headrest. Refer to HEADREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the locking mechanism trim. Refer to LOCKING MECHANISM TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging the seat covers.

The seat cover can rip.

- Do not pull on the seat cover.

-- Loosen the clips -2- from the backrest cover -1- near the inner mounting pins.

-- Unclip the outer bearing sleeve -1- from the rear seat backrest with the : T10383/1  -arrow-.

Left 1/3 Rear Seat Backrest

-- Starting at the locking mechanism, use a screwdriver to pry off the clamping strip -2- for the backrest cover all around the backrest frame -3- -arrow-.

Right 2/3 Rear Seat Backrest without Pass-Through

-- Remove the rear seat belt guide in the center. Refer to REAR SEAT BELT GUIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Starting at the locking mechanism, use a screwdriver to pry off the clamping strip -2- for the backrest cover all around the backrest frame -3- -arrow-.

-- Remove the rear seat belt guide in the center. Refer to REAR SEAT BELT GUIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the pass-through door. Refer to PASS-THROUGH DOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the pass-through cover frame. Refer to PASS-THROUGH COVER FRAME, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Starting at the locking mechanism, use a screwdriver to pry off the clamping strip -2- for the backrest cover all around the backrest frame -3- -arrow-.

-- Pry off the clamping strip -4- for the backrest cover with a screwdriver from the opening for the pass-through.

Continuation for all Rear Seat Backrest

-- Move the cover and cushion -1- as far upward as possible until the headrest tube is visible with the headrest guide.

-- Push the locking tabs for the headrest guide -2- inward -arrows A- using pliers, and at the same time, remove the headrest guide from the backrest frame -3- -arrow B-.

-- Remove the backrest cover -1- and backrest cushion from the backrest frame.
