Motor, Securing To Engine And Transmission Holder, Rear Motor

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Holding Plate:VW309A 
• Lifting Device:VAS 501 019 
• Engine and Transmission Holder:VAS 6095A 
• Motor Bracket (MEB Rear Motor):VAS 6095A/1-21 
• Shop Crane:VAS 6100 

Assemble the Lifting Device:VAS 501 019  -A-.

-- Attach the Bracket:VAS 501 019/1  -1- and Bracket:VAS 501 019/2  -2- to the lifting device. Install the bolts -5-.

-- Secure the shackle -4- in the holes shown.

-- Align the bracket -1- and -2- to the markings -arrows-.

-- Tighten the bolts -5-.

Motor, Securing to Motor and Transmission Holder

-- Insert the bracket -1- and -2- from the lifting device -A- in the holes -B arrows-.

-- Install the bolt -3- hand-tight, all the way in the hole -arrow C-.

-- Engage the Workshop Crane:VAS 6100  in the shackle -4- and lift the motor.

-- Position the Motor Bracket for ID.4:VAS 6095A/1-21  -A- on Holding Plate:VW309A  -B- and tighten the bolts.

-- Attach the motor bracket -A- to the motor -1- and tighten the bolts.

-- Secure the motor -1- with the motor bracket -A- and the retaining plate -B- on the Engine and Transmission Holder:VAS 6095A  -C-.
