A/C Pressure/Temperature Sensor 2 G826, Removing And Installing: Removing

Immediately seal off any open lines and connections with clean plugs from the Engine Bung Set:VAS 6122  .

 

-- Perform the "open the electric activated valves for the refrigerant circuit for extracting, evacuating and filling" with Vehicle Diagnostic Tester . Refer to Diagnostic Entries .

-- Refer to RADIATOR MODULE, DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING .

-- Remove the lock carrier. Refer to LOCK CARRIER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the coolant expansion tank and move to the side. Refer to COOLANT EXPANSION TANK, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

 
CAUTION:

Danger of frostbite due to refrigerant coming out under pressure.

Frostbite on the skin and other parts of the body is possible.

- Wear safety gloves.

- Wear protective eyewear.

- Evacuate or drain refrigerant and open the refrigerant circuit immediately.

- If more than 10 minutes have elapsed since evacuating or draining the refrigerant and the refrigerant circuit was not opened, evacuate or drain the refrigerant again. Pressure develops in the refrigerant circuit due to evaporation.

-- Remove the bolts -1-.

-- Pull the refrigerant line -2- out and remove it.

 

-- Disconnect the connector -5-.

-- Check the refrigerant line connection -1- and A/C Pressure/Temperature Sensor 2 -G826- -4- for dirt and clean them.

-- Remove the sensor -4- using the Socket - 24mm:T40284  , at the same time counterhold at the refrigerant line -1- with a open end wrench.
