Condensation Water Drain, Checking
-- Remove the carpet. Refer to CARPET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
CAUTION:
Risk of damaging the airbag control module. If moisture enters the connectors, they will corrode.
- After disconnecting, cover or seal the control module connectors to prevent moisture from entering.
-- Check the condensation water drain.
Condition
- The hook -arrow A- must be hooked onto the heater and A/C unit connection -1-.
- The seal -4- must be seated tightly at the opening in the body -3- -arrow B-.
- The condensation water drain -2- must not be twisted or squeezed.
-- Remove the condensation water drain -2-. Refer to Condensation Water Drain, Removing and Installing .
-- Check the condensation water drain -2- for narrowings.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
