If the Cooling System Service Machine - TEXA:VAS 531 011 is used to finish filling the cooling system, then it is sufficient to clamp off the coolant hoses.
There is a risk of fatal injury due to high voltage.
Electrocution by direct contact or electric arc can cause severe bodily injury or fatal injury.
- Have a high-voltage technician (HVT) or a high-voltage expert (HVE) de-energize the high-voltage system.

-- Remove the heater and A/C unit air intake housing. Refer to Heater and A/C Unit Air Intake Housing, Removing and Installing .
Finish filling the cooling system using the Cooling System Service Machine - TEXA:VAS 531 011 .
-- Clamp off the coolant hoses -2- using the Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm:3094 .
-- Disconnect the clamps -3- and remove the coolant hoses -2-.
Continuation for all vehicles
Finish filling the cooling system using the Cooling System Charge Kit:VAS 6096 .
-- Refer to COOLING SYSTEM, FILLING .
-- Disconnect the clamps -3- and remove the coolant hoses -2-.
Continuation for all vehicles
-- Remove the nut -3-.
-- Remove the potential equalization cable -2-.
-- Unclip the bracket -5-.
-- Disconnect the connectors -4- and -6-.
-- Loosen the connector -2- from the bracket -1-.
-- Push the coolant hoses -2- and -4- to the side and remove the bolts -3-.
-- Remove the Heating Element (PTC) 3 -Z132- -1-.
