Condensation Water Drain, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the right footwell center console trim panel. Refer to OVERVIEW - CENTER CONSOLE .

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging the airbag control module. If moisture enters the connectors, they will corrode.

- After disconnecting, cover or seal the control module connectors to prevent moisture from entering.

-- Remove the connector from the Airbag Control Module -J234- -6-.

-- Cover the Airbag Control Module -J234- and connector -6- with waterproof foil.

-- Carefully push the carpet to the side and cover it in the area under the condensation water drain hose with waterproof foil and absorbent paper.

-- Remove the condensation water drain hose carefully from the heater and A/C unit -1- and from the body -5-.
