Component Location Overview - Components Outside Of Vehicle Interior

NOTE:
For A/C systems with refrigerant R1234yf, the desiccant bag/dryer cartridge must be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened. Refer to COMPONENTS, REPLACING .
Under certain conditions, the desiccant bag no longer needs to be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened on A/C systems with refrigerant R134a. Refer to COMPONENTS, REPLACING .

- Check using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester Refer to VEHICLE INTERIOR FORCED AIR EXTRACTION, CHECKING .
- Removing and installing. Refer to VEHICLE INTERIOR FORCED AIR EXTRACTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Vehicle Interior Forced Air Extraction

- Desiccant Bag/Dryer Cartridge

- Condenser
- With integrated receiver/dryer

Under certain conditions, the receiver/dryer and the desiccant bag does not need to be replaced each time the refrigerant circuit is opened. Refer to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning; Refrigerant R134a Servicing refer to COMPONENTS, REPLACING .
- Outside Air Temperature Sensor -G17-
- Check via the Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519- using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function. Refer to Wiring Diagram.

- A/C Compressor

- Removing and installing from the bracket. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON BRACKET .
- Evacuating and Charging Valve, High-Pressure Side

- Refrigerant Circuit Pressure Sensor -G805-
- To check, use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function. Refer to Wiring Diagram.
