Fresh Air Intake Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the right plenum chamber cover. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Disconnect the cable connection for vehicles with windshield defogger from the cover for the fresh air intake -1-
-- Remove the cover -1-.
NOTE:
If the fresh air intake cover is damaged or installed incorrectly, water can enter the fresh air intake. This may result in complaints regarding an odor coming from the A/C system and/or moisture in the vehicle interior.
If the plenum chamber cover is damaged or incorrectly installed, water can enter the fresh air intake through the fresh air intake cover.
