Front Sunroof Water Drains, Checking For Clearance And Cleaning If Necessary

Completely open the sliding sunroof.

-- Check the front water drain -arrow- for dirt and clean if necessary.

-- Using a measuring container, pour approximately 0.5 liters of tap water into the front water drain. Work carefully so that water does not flow into the vehicle interior.

-- Check underneath the vehicle if water is flowing out in the front wheel housing area.

-- Repeat the procedure on the other side of the vehicle.

-- If no water flows out of the appropriate areas: clean the water drains

NOTE:

Cleaning the sunroof water drains is a repair procedure and should be charged separately.
