Data Bus on Board Diagnostic Interface -J533-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment.
-- Move the ignition key outside of the vehicle to prevent switching on the ignition unintentionally.
-- If equipped, remove the driver side knee airbag. Refer to AIRBAG UNIT WITH IGNITER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the driver side footwell vent. Refer to DRIVER SIDE FOOTWELL VENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Reach upward behind the pedal bracket to disconnect the connector -1-.
-- To disconnect the connector press the circlip and remove the connector.
-- Release the retainers -arrows-.
-- Remove the Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- -3- downward from the bracket -2-.
