Left Front Seat Cushion Fan 1 -V514- /Right Front Seat Cushion Fan 1 -V518-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the seat trim bracket. Refer to SEAT TRIM PANEL BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release and disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Disengage the front and side molding strips on the cover -1- with the T-Handle Hook:3438 in the -direction of the arrow A-.

NOTE:

Higher force is required, to disengage the front and side molding strips.

-- Lift the cover with the seat cushion -1- in the front section in the -direction of arrow B-.

-- At the same time, guide the wiring harness for the Left Front Seat Cushion Fan 1 -V514- -item 4- through the seat frame.

-- Carefully loosen the fleece -3- in the upper section in the -direction of arrow C- until the Left Front Seat Cushion Fan 1 -V514- -item 4- is freed up.

NOTE:

Pieces of the seat cushion may loosen when the fleece is loosened. This does not indicate that the pieces are faulty.

-- Remove the Left Front Seat Cushion Fan 1 -V514- -item 2- from the seat cushion -1- in the -direction of arrow A-.
