Component Location Overview - Seat Occupant Detection System

- Passenger Seat Occupant Detection Sensor -G128-
- The seat heating element is used for the seat occupant detection system
- Depending on the seat version, the Passenger Seat Occupant Detection Sensor -G128- is either sewn into the cover with the seat heating element, or bonded onto the cushion
- Must not be separated from the front seat cushion cover
- The components are separated from each other; replace both components
- Removing and Installing. Refer to PASSENGER OCCUPANT DETECTION SYSTEM PRESSURE SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Wiring Harness
- For the seat heating element with seat occupant detection system
- Clip into the seat pan
- Connector
- For the seat heating element with seat occupant detection system
- Clip into the seat pan
- Connector
- for the Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706-
- Wiring Harness
- For the seat position sensor/seat belt fastening detection/passenger occupant detection system/seat belt switch
- Clip into the seat pan
- Connector station in the vehicle floor under the seat.
