Stub Shaft Needle Bearing (Polygon Bearing), Replacing: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation underneath the engine/transmission. Refer to Exterior Equipment .

-- Remove the bevel box. Refer to BEVEL BOX, REMOVING, VEHICLES WITH 3.6L, 206 KW ENGINE .

-- Remove the circlip -1- from the stub shaft.

-- Carefully remove the stub shaft -2- using a plastic hammer in the direction of the -arrow-.

-- Arrange both parts of the tool so that the markings "B" face each other.

-- The depressions -arrows- must be under the bearing.

-- Attach both halves all the way together.

-- Pry out the needle bearing circlip -A-.

-- To prevent the running surface of the bearing on the shaft from being damaged, rotate the shaft while pressing -arrow-.
