- Torque Wrench 1331 5-50Nm:VAG1331
- Acid-Resistant Safety Gloves
All Wheel Drive Clutch Oil is available as a replacement part. Refer to the appropriate Electronic Parts Information.
Test Requirements
- Observe the safety information.
- Oil temperature must be 20 to 40 °C (68 to 104 °F).
- The vehicle must be level.
- Final drive must be in the installation position to check oil level.
-- Read the oil temperature. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester Guided Functions .
Enter "Guided Fault Finding" :
-- Switch the ignition on.
-- Touch the "Guided Functions" field/button on the screen.
-- Select one after another on the tester:
- Brand
- Type
- Model year
- Version
- Engine Codes
- Confirm the entered data.
- 22 - AWD electronics
- 22 - Read the measured values block
- Oil temperature
-- Read the oil temperature.
- The oil temperature must be 20 to 40 °C (68 to 104 °F).
Check the Oil Level
-- Remove the oil filler plug -arrow-. (Shown with final drive removed for clarity).
The oil level is correct if the all wheel drive clutch is filled to the lower edge of the oil filler hole or up to 3 mm below the oil filler hole lower edge.
-- Tighten the bolt -arrow- to 15 Nm.
-- Add oil if the oil level is not correct. Refer to Oil, Filling .
