Overview - Rear Brake Caliper

Install the entire repair kit when servicing.
Only use mineral spirits to clean the brakes.
New brake calipers are filled with brake fluid and are pre-bled.

- 8 Nm
Parking Brake Motor
Seal
- Always replace
Thrust Nut
- Removing and installing is not possible.
Seal
- Removing and installing is not possible.
Piston
- Removing and installing is not possible.
Protective Cap
- Removing and installing. Refer to DUST CAP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
  NOTE:
  To change the protective cap the brake caliper does not need to be removed, do not remove the brake hose.
Breather Valve
- 10 Nm
- Lightly grease the threads with assembly paste G 052 150 A2 before installing.
