Carpet, Removing And Installing: Removing

Front Carpet

-- Remove the front seats. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If equipped, remove the peripheral camera control module on the front passenger side. Refer to PERIPHERAL CAMERA, CALIBRATING .

-- Remove the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- bracket. Refer to DIGITAL SOUND SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE -J525-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the sill panels. Refer to SILL PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the A-pillar lower trim panels. Refer to A-PILLAR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front belt end fittings. Refer to FRONT BELT END FITTING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the center console. Refer to OVERVIEW - CENTER CONSOLE .

-- Remove the footrest. Refer to FOOTREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front floor mat.

-- Remove the left and right expanding rivet -arrow-.

-- Lift the front carpet -1- at the rear and pull rearward.

CAUTION:

Make sure the carpet does not tear at the openings.

-- Fold the front carpet together and remove it through the front door.

Rear Carpet

-- Remove the front seats. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the second row rear seat. Refer to BENCH SEAT/SINGLE SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the third row rear seat. Refer to SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear heater and A/C unit. Refer to HEATER AND A/C UNIT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the luggage compartment side trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the vent in the carpet. Refer to VENT IN CARPET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear carpet through the rear door opening.
