If Procedures Are Performed at the Brake Drum, Then the Test Plan for the Basic Setting Must Be Performed.
-- Perform the function "Rear brake service" using Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC ENTRIES .

-- Remove the bolt -2- and also remove the brake drum -1-.
-- Remove the clamp -1- using the Assembly Tool: T30114 -2- in direction of -arrow- at the same time push against the pin from behind.
-- Lift the brake shoe using the parking brake lever -1- in the direction of -arrow A- using a water pump pliers -4- out of the lower support -2-.
-- Place the brake shoe with the parking brake lever -1- in front of the lower support -2- in direction of -arrow B-.
-- Disengage the lower return spring -3-.
-- Remove the opposite clamp -1- using the Assembly Tool: T30114 -2- at the same time push against the pin from behind.
Risk of damaging the brake cylinder, boot and the automatic adjuster due to improper handling.
Damage has a negative effect on the function of the automatic adjuster and the brakes.
- Remove both brake shoes.
-- Push both brake shoes -1 and 2- on the bottom together in direction of -arrow A-.
-- Pull both brake shoes -1 and 2- downward in the in direction of -arrow B-.
-- Disengage the parking brake -1- out of the parking brake lever -2-.
-- Pry out the upper return spring -1- out of the brake shoe without a parking brake lever -3- using a screwdriver -2-.
