Left And Right Parking Brake Motor V282/V283, Removing And Installing: Removing

The Left Parking Brake Motor -V282- and the Right Parking Brake Motor -V283- will be called parking brake motor in the information that follows.
The following information describes the removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle as an example.
Conditions
- Ignition must be switched off for at least 30 seconds before disconnecting the connector.
-- Remove the brake shoes and disengage the parking brake cable from the brake shoe. Refer to Brake Shoes, Removing and Installing .
-- Disconnect the connector -2- at the parking brake motor -1-.
-- Push down the locking tab in the bracket and turn the parking brake motor out of the bracket.
