Brake Caliper, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the wheel. Refer to WHEEL, REMOVING .

Right Side of Vehicle 

-- Disconnect the connector for the Front Brake Pad Wear Sensor -G35-.

Continuation for All Vehicles 

-- Attach the bleeder bottle bleed hose -1- to the brake caliper breather valve.

-- Open the breather valve.

-- Insert the Brake Pedal Actuator: VAG1869/2  .

-- Close the bleeder valve and remove the bleeder bottle.

-- Remove the brake hose.

-- Remove the hex bolts -2-, at the same time counterhold at the guide pin -3-.

-- Remove the brake caliper from the brake carrier -1-.
