Stabilizer Bar, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the rear underbody trim panel. Refer to REAR UNDERBODY TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the impact guard. Refer to IMPACT GUARD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the Engine/Gearbox Jack - Gearbox Support: T10337  -A- to the Engine and Gearbox Jack: VAS 6931  -B-.

-- Position the Engine/Gearbox Jack - Gearbox Support: T10337  -A- at the stabilizer bar -1-.

Conditions

-- Slightly push the stabilizer bar -1- upward.

-- Remove the nut -6- from the coupling rod -1-. At the same time, counterhold on the internal multi-point bolt on the coupling rod -1-.

-- Remove the coupling rod -1- from the stabilizer bar -5-.

-- Remove the bolts -3- and -4- for the stabilizer bar -2- on the subframe -1-. At the same time hold the stabilizer bar.

-- Remove the stabilizer bar -2- from the subframe.
