Transmission Mount, Replacing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Apply the mark -5- on the new transmission mount -1-.

-- Push the transmission mount -1- on the Spindle: T10620/4 -L-.

-- The displayed surface -arrow- on the transmission mount -1- points to the stabilizer bar.

-- Slide the Thrust Piece: T10620/15 -O- on the Spindle: T10620/4 -K-.

-- Install the nut for the Spindle: T10620/4 -6- on the Spindle: T10620/4 -L-.

-- Insert the Spindle: T10620/4 -L- together with the Spindle: T10620/17 -K- and the transmission mount in the subframe -2-.

-- Position and align the transmission mount -1- to the subframe -2- with the line -5-.

-- Slide the Thrust Piece: T10620/12 -N- on the Spindle: T10620/17 -K-.

-- The side with the deep recess points towards the subframe -2-.

-- Push the Hydraulic Press: VAS 6178 -V- on the Spindle: T10620/17 -K-.

-- The side with the hydraulic connection points to the subframe -2-.

-- Position the Hydraulic Press: VAS 6178 -V- on the Thrust Piece: T10620/12 -N-.

-- Install the Nut: T10205/8-2 -U- on the Spindle: T10620/17 -K-.

-- Install the nut for the Spindle: T10620/4 -6- all the way to the Thrust Piece: T10620/15 -O-.

-- Position the Thrust Piece: T10620/12 -N- on the Hydraulic Press: VAS 6178 -V-.

-- Position and align the transmission mount -1- to the subframe -2- with the line -5-.

-- Tighten the nut -6- and the Nut: T10205/8-2 -U-, at the same time align the thrust pieces.

-- Pay attention that the tools seated are aligned.

-- Position the Thrust Piece: T10620/13 -P- on the transmission mount -1-.

-- The short distance -a- points to the subframe -2-.

-- Assemble both halves of the Thrust Piece: T10620/13 -P- with both bolts.

-- Align the thrust pieces and the transmission mount -1- to the subframe -2-.

-- Tighten both halves of the Thrust Piece: T10620/13 -P- with both bolts.

-- Tighten the nut -6-.

-- The Bearing Installer - Wheel Hub/Bearing Kit - Nut: T10205/8-2 -U- must be installed flush on the Bearing Installer - Wheel Hub/Bearing Kit -Thrust Piece: T10205/13 -W-.

-- The guide from the Bearing Installer - Wheel Hub/Bearing Kit - Nut: T10205/8-2 -U- must be seated in the Bearing Installer - Wheel Hub/Bearing Kit -Thrust Piece: T10205/13 -W-.

-- Align the tools again and tighten the Nut: T10205/8-2 -U-.

-- Connect the Foot Pump: VAS 6179 on the Hydraulic Press: VAS 6178 -V-.

-- Operate the Pneumatic/Hydraulic Foot Pump: VAS 6179 . Install the transmission mount -1- with the Pneumatic/Hydraulic Foot Pump: VAS 6178 -V-.

-- Engage the transmission mount -1- until the collar almost contacts the Thrust Piece: T10620/13 -P-.

-- Remove the Thrust Piece: T10620/13 -P-.

-- Engage the transmission mount -1- completely. The transmission mount -1- must fit flush on the subframe -2-.
