Motor Mount, Replacing: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
-- Apply the mark -5- on the new motor mount -1-.
-- Position and align the motor mount -1- to the subframe -2- with the line -5-.
-- Slide the Thrust Piece: T10620/15 -O- on the Spindle: T10620/4 -K-.
-- Install the nut -6- on the Spindle: T10620/4 -L-.
-- Position the Thrust Piece: T10620/13 -P- to the motor mount -1-, the shorter distance -a- points toward the subframe -2- when doing so.
-- Assemble both halves of the Thrust Piece: T10620/13 -P- with both bolts.
-- Slide the Thrust Piece: T10620/12 -N- on the Spindle: T10620/17 -K-.
-- Position the Thrust Piece: T10620/12 -N- on the subframe -2-.
-- The side with the two recesses points to the subframe -2-.
-- Push the Hydraulic Press: VAS 6178 -V- on the Spindle: T10620/17 -K-.
-- Position the Hydraulic Press: VAS 6178 -V- on the Thrust Piece: T10620/12 -N-.
-- Install the Nut: T10205/8-2 -U- on the Spindle: T10620/17 -K-.
-- Install the nut for the Spindle: T10620/4 -6- to the Thrust Piece: T10620/15 -O-.
-- Position and align the cut-out on the Thrust Piece: T10620/12 -N- with the large diameter on the subframe -2-.
-- Align the Hydraulic Press: VAS 6178 -V- on the Thrust Piece: T10620/12 -N-.
-- The guide from the Bearing Installer - Wheel Hub/Bearing Kit - Nut: T10205/8-2 -U- must be seated in the Bearing Installer - Wheel Hub/Bearing Kit -Thrust Piece: T10205/13 -P-.
-- Align the tools again and tighten the Nut: T10205/8-2 -U-.
-- Tighten both halves of the Thrust Piece: T10620/13 -P- with both bolts.
-- Connect the Foot Pump: VAS 6179 on the Hydraulic Press: VAS 6178 .
-- Operate the Pneumatic/Hydraulic Foot Pump: VAS 6179 . Engage the motor mount -1- with the Hydraulic Press: VAS 6178 -V- inward.
-- Engage the motor mount -1- until the collar almost contacts the Thrust Piece: T10620/13 -P-.
-- The end of the motor mount -1- is then in the area of the hole -arrow-.
-- Remove the Thrust Piece: T10620/13 -P-.
-- Completely engage the motor mount -1- until the motor mount -3- contacts the subframe -2- -arrow-.
