Left And Right Variable Headlamp Bulbs L207/L208, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp, Removing and Installing  .

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging electrical components.

The electrostatic charge can damage electrical components.

- Procedures at the electrical components must only be performed at an electro-static discharge work surface.

-- Place the headlamp on the Electro-Static Discharge Work Surface: VAS6613  .

-- Carefully loosen the housing cover -1- along the break line -2- with a hammer.

-- Remove the housing cover -1- from the headlamp.

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Remove the bracket for the wire -4-.

-- Release the hook -3-.

-- Remove the wires from the bracket -1-.

-- Release the locking tabs -6-.

-- Remove the connector -5-.

-- Remove the bolts -2-.

-- Guide the variable headlamp bulb -1- out of the headlamp housing, until the connector -3- is accessible.

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Remove the variable headlamp bulb -1-.
