Battery Terminal Clamp And Battery Terminal, Cleaning: Removing

-- Disconnect the Battery -A-. Refer to Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting .

Cleaning the Battery Terminal Clamp for the Positive Terminal and Battery Positive Terminal

-- Remove the bracket for the Fuse Panel A -SA- and move it to the side with the wires connected. Refer to Battery A, Removing and Installing .

-- Clamp off the battery terminal clamp for the positive terminal. Refer to OVERVIEW - BATTERY .

Continuation for all vehicles

-- Visually inspect the battery terminal clamp and battery terminal for corrosion and contamination.

-- Clean the battery terminal clamp -1- using the wire brush -A- out of the Contact Surfaces Cleaning Set: VAS6410 by rotating in the direction of -arrow-.
