-- Cut open and then remove the protective cover -3- using a sharp cutter -arrow-.
-- Clamp the drive unit with the engine-side -1- into a commercially available vise.

Requirement
- The dimension -a- = 100 mm must be maintained.
-- Separate the spring wire in distance -a- from the engine-side using a commercially available metal saw.
-- Turn the drive unit -1- and spring half -2- toward one another to release the tension in the spring.
