Rear Lid Closing Aid VX16, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the rear lid lower trim panel. Refer to REAR LID LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- To release the release cable -4- turn the mount -3- slightly in the -direction of the arrow- and hold.

-- Disengage the support bracket -5-.

-- Disengage the release cable -3-.

-- Release the clip -1- 90° in the -direction of the arrow-.

-- Repeat the procedure for the remaining clips.

-- Remove the closing assist -2-.
