Release Cable, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the lower A-pillar trim panel. Refer to A-PILLAR LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the driver side footwell cover. Refer to DRIVER SIDE FOOTWELL COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front driver side wheel housing liner. Refer to Front Wheel Housing Liner, Removing and Installing .

-- Remove the Windshield Wiper Motor -V-. Refer to WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR V, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disengage the release cable -1- in the -direction of the arrow A- out of the mounting bracket -2-.

-- Remove the release cable coupling -1- in the -direction of the arrow A- from the support -3-.

-- Pretension and hold the release cable -2- in the -direction of the arrow B-.

-- Open the cap -1- for the release cable coupling -2- in the -direction of the arrow A-.

-- Remove the release cable -3- in the -direction of the arrow B- from the release cable coupling -2-.

-- Remove the release cable -1- with the grommet -2- in the -direction of the arrow A- from the body.
