Adjusting Buffers, Adjusting

The adjusting buffers stabilize and serve as shock absorbers for the hood.
-- Remove the striker. Refer to Striker, Removing and Installing .
Tip
The hood -2- can be adjusted at the height to the front bumper cover and the fenders.
-- Turn the adjusting buffer -1- in the -direction of arrow A- or in the -direction of arrow B- to adjust the hood -2-.
Requirement
- If the hood -2- is closed the adjusting buffer -1- must lightly touch the stops -3-.
