License Plate Holder, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
Bumper cover without holes
-- Mark the distance between the Right Front Center Parking Aid Sensor - G253- and Left Front Center Parking Aid Sensor - G254- -arrows- and mark the center on the bumper cover.
-- Center the license plate holder -1- between the Right Front Center Parking Aid Sensor - G253- and Left Front Center Parking Aid Sensor - G254- -arrows-.
-- Position the lower edge of the license plate holder -1- on the upper edge of the center air intake grille -2-.
Requirement
- Set the stop depth on the commercially available drill to 12 mm.
-- Drill holes (8 mm diameter) for the license plate holder -1- in the bumper cover.
-- Test the function of the driver assistance systems.
