12V Sockets U5/U19, Removing And Installing: Removing

For clarity, the following procedures are shown with the 12V socket removed.

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging component surfaces.

- Tape off the visible area on the component with adhesive tape.

-- Insert the Puller: T40148 -A- into the 12V socket -1-.

-- Turn the knurled nut -4-, until the hooks -3- engage into the recesses -2-.

-- Remove the 12V socket -1- using the Puller: T40148 -A-.

-- Disconnect the connector.

-- Loosen the knurled nut and remove the Puller: T40148 -A- from the 12 V socket -1-.
