Airbag Connector, Replacing: Removing

The airbag unit with Driver Airbag Igniter - N95- will be called the airbag unit with igniter in the information that follows.

-- Remove the airbag unit with igniter. Refer to Airbag Unit with Driver Airbag Igniter N95, Removing and Installing .

CAUTION:

Pyrotechnical components can deploy unintentionally.

Risk of injury.

- Discharge the static electricity: quickly touch the door striker.

-- Disengage the wire at the brackets.

-- Unpin the wire from the connector -1-.

-- Disconnect the connectors.

-- Release the connector lock -2- in the -direction of the arrow-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Detach the wire.
