Driver/Front Passenger Thorax Airbag Crash Sensor G179/G180, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Attach the connector until it clicks into place.

-- Make sure the wire is not pinched.

Conditions

The sealing of the door must be ensured.

-- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

CAUTION:

Pyrotechnical components can deploy unintentionally.

Risk of injury.

- Keep as far away as possible from the pyrotechnic component when switching the ignition on.

-- Switch the ignition on.

-- Check and clear the DTC memory using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
