Rear Seat Backrest, Removing And Installing: Removing

Removal and installation is described for a 2 /3 rear seat backrest as an example.

-- Remove the rear shelf.

2 /3 rear seat backrest

-- Remove the right rear seat belt latch. Refer to REAR SEAT BELT LATCH, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fold the pass-through door forward.

Continuation for all vehicles 

Tip

For clarity, the left 1 /3 rear seat backrest is not shown.

-- Remove the cover -1- from the center support -2-.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Fold up the locking bushing -1- in the -direction of arrow A-, disengage it at the front of the center support -arrow B-, and remove it.

-- Pry the rear seat backrest -2- out in the -direction of arrow A- at the inner mounting pin -3- and remove it in the -direction of arrow B- from the pivot pins -1-.
