Rear Panel Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the headrest. Refer to Headrest, Removing and Installing  .

-- Fold the rear seat backrest forward.

-- Release the hook in the -direction of the arrow- using a commercially available plastic wedge -A- and pry the rear seat backrest child seat anchor -1- upward.

Tip

The entire surface of the rear panel trim panel is bonded with the backrest frame.

-- Warm all around the rear panel trim panel -1- using a Wiring Harness Repair Set - Hot Air Blower: VAS 1978/14A  and carefully loosen it from the backrest frame -2-.
