Headrest Guide, Removing And Installing: Removing

Tip

Three commercially available screwdrivers are required for removal. Blade height: 0.4 mm, blade width: 8 mm.

-- Remove the headrest. Refer to Headrest, Removing and Installing  .

-- Press the cover with outer cushion -1- down slightly.

Tip

Insert two screwdrivers near the hooks so that the flat side of each screwdriver blade is resting on the hook.

-- Slide one screwdriver on each side sideways from the headrest tube -4- over to the hook -3-.

-- Turn both screwdrivers 90° in the -direction of arrow B- and release the hook -3- in the -direction of arrow A-.

-- Pry off the headrest guide -2- with a third screwdriver from the headrest tube -4-.
