Bench Seat/Single Seat, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Check the body opening -arrow- for deformations.

Tip

Remaining minor deformation is permissible.

-- If there are deformations, reshape the panel with a plastic mallet.

-- Lift the carpet -2- and press in the new grommets -1- until they engage audibly in the body openings -arrow-.

-- Lay the carpet -2- around the grommet, but do not cover the grommet.

-- Check if the wire frame is aligned in the marked area -arrow- before installing the bench seat.

-- If the wire frame is bent, bend it back until it is aligned.

Tip

Make sure the wire hooks engage correctly.

-- Insert the bench seat and press the wire hooks forcefully into the grommets.
