Outer Seat Trim Panel, Removing And Installing, Front Passenger Seat Without Height Adjustment: Removing

The removing and installing is described as an example for a LHD vehicle.

-- Position the front seat as far forward as possible.

-- Remove the backrest adjustment handle. Refer to BACKREST ADJUSTMENT WHEEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING  .

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Push the clamping pin in the expanding rivet -3- inward.

-- Pry out the expanding rivet -3- using a commercially available plastic wedge.

-- Loosen the mounting points -2-.

-- Remove the outer seat trim panel -1-.
