Front Seat, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Adjust the front seat.

-- First, insert the centering pin on the front inner side -arrow-, then insert the centering pin on the rear inner side -arrow-.

-- Align the seat rails.

Conditions

The seat rails must be in the same position in the locking mechanism.

-- Align the front seat.

-- Connect the connector.

-- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Switch the ignition on.

-- Check and clear the DTC memory using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

CAUTION:

Risk of damage to the seat crossmember mounting plate threads.

- Carefully install the bolts.

-- Install the bolts -2- by hand.

-- Move the front seat all the way forward and into the highest position.

-- Install the bolt -1- by hand.

-- Tighten the bolts -1-.

-- Move the front seat all the way back and to the lowest position.

-- Tighten the bolts -2-.
