Sun Visor, Removing And Installing: Removing

The following information describes the removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle as an example.

-- Pivot the sun visor forward.

-- Remove the Driver and Front Passenger Vanity Mirror Lamps W20/W14. Refer to the appropriate service information .

-- Disengage the sun visor -2- from the sun visor center support -1- and fold it to the side.

-- Pry out the caps -3- using a small screwdriver.

-- Position the Release Pliers : T10558A  in the center of the clips -3-.

-- Release the front clip -3- (when viewed in the direction of travel) in the sun visor mount -1- using the Release Pliers : T10558A  .

-- Pull the sun visor -2- down gently so that the front clip -3- does not engage again.

-- Release the rear clip -3- (when viewed in the direction of travel) in the sun visor mount -1- using the Release Pliers : T10558A  .

-- Pull the sun visor -2- downward.

CAUTION:

There is a risk of damaging the wires by pulling too hard.

- Carefully pull the wires out of the opening.

-- Disconnect the connector.

-- Remove the clamping plate.

-- Remove the sun visor.
