Front Wheel Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Loosen the front wheel housing liner in the area of the fender. Refer to Front Wheel Housing Liner, Removing and Installing  .

Vehicles with fender covers

-- Remove fender cover. Refer to FENDER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Vehicles without fender covers

-- Heat up the front wheel arch trim in the area near the adhesive tape -5- using the Hot Air Blower: V. A. G 1416  . Refer to ADHESIVE SURFACES FOR ADHESIVE TAPE .

Continuation for all vehicles 

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Remove the hook -3- in the -direction of arrow A- from the rear bumper cover.

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging the component surfaces.

- If a lever is used, any component that is in a visible area must be taped off with commercially available adhesive tape.

-- Push the clips -4- together using the wedge no. 24 from the Removal Wedge Set: VAS 895 015  -B arrows-.

-- Remove the front wheel arch trim -1- in the -direction of arrow C- from the fender.
