Final Drive, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the drive axle. Refer to DRIVE AXLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen and remove the driveshaft on the final drive. Refer to DRIVESHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector from the actuators -1-.

-- Do not lower the subframe more than 40 mm. Refer to OVERVIEW - SUBFRAME .

-- Disconnect the breather line on the final drive.

-- Use the Multipoint Socket:T10035  -1- to remove the rear bolts for the final drive from the rear axle.

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Remove the washer -2-.

-- Move back the final drive into the installation position.

-- Secure the final drive -1- as shown with a belt.
