EVAP Canister, Removing And Installing, Vehicles Without Fuel Tank Leak Detection: Removing

-- Remove the right rear wheel. Refer to WHEEL, CHANGING .

-- Remove the right rear wheel housing liner. Refer to OVERVIEW - REAR WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

Vehicles with connections for the lower breather lines:

-- Unclip the breather lines -1- and -2- at the brackets -arrows-.

-- Remove the breather lines -1- and -2- from the EVAP canister. Disconnect the quick-release coupling. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .

Vehicles with connections for the upper and lower breather lines:

-- Remove the breather lines -2- and -3- on the EVAP canister -1-. Disconnect the quick-release coupling. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .

-- Unclip the breather line -3- on the EVAP canister -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Press in the hook -3- using a screwdriver.

-- Remove the EVAP canister -2- downward from the bracket in the -direction of the arrow-.
